We’re Here To Help You
Phoning a divorce lawyer is a huge step emotionally. More than ever, you need sympathetic, expert help to overcome feelings of apprehension, uncertainty, sadness, frustration and the sense of loss.
Every divorce, separation or dissolution of a civil partnership is unique. So it takes an experienced family lawyer to understand the nuances of your individual situation and tailor the best legal advice for you.
We listen patiently and empathise as you tell us sensitive information you may never have discussed with anyone else. We can help you determine how to move on with your life and care for your loved ones in the best way possible after the momentous changes you’ve had to endure.
Your First Phone Call, And What Happens Next
When you phone us, we’ll offer you a meeting on a fixed-fee basis. So you’ll know in advance exactly how much it’ll cost.
There’s no clock running; no time limit on this meeting. We’ll be there to help you at that meeting for as long as it takes for us to understand your situation. We can then outline the various choices you have moving forward. However long that meeting takes, the fee will remain the same.
After that first meeting, you’ll then have the opportunity to go away and think calmly about the advice we’ve given you. You can then decide whether you would like to instruct us to proceed and help you further. Divorce – like the original marriage – is a big step and you’ll need time to consider what you want to do next.
