Opportunities for Trainee Solicitors at Coles Miller: A Comprehensive Two-Year Training Program
Coles Miller Solicitors offer opportunities for trainees solicitors every year and they commence in the month of September on a full time basis for two years. We expect hard work, commitment and a drive and hunger to learn and develop into an effective solicitor. We will fully support your efforts and help you achieve the aims set.
You will be given every opportunity to take on responsibility as your knowledge and experience increases. We recommend and encourage client contact early in your career.
Your training will normally be organised as four seats, each lasting six months. The allocation of seats depends on demand and the business needs of each department. We try and ensure your last seat is the one where you wish to qualify into.
We try and take your preferences into account when allocating seats and ensure that you gain broad experience in both contentious and non-contentious work to meet the Solicitor Regulation Authority requirements.
You will receive regular performance reviews during each seat and will be able to discuss progress with your Training Principal.
Once you have successfully completed your two year training with us, we will meet with you and discuss your future with the firm.
