It’s a double celebration for Coles Miller Solicitors where Ruth Elkins and Chris Whittle are both toasting 25 years at the Dorset law firm.
Residential conveyancing Partner Ruth Elkins originally joined Coles Miller as a paralegal back in 1997.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2002, was appointed a Partner in 2007, and helped Coles Miller to become the 100th firm in the country to be accepted on the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the fantastic team at Coles Miller Solicitors for a quarter of a century, even if that makes me feel really old!” said Ruth, who is based at the firm’s Wimborne office.
“Conveyancing has seen a lot of changes in that time but it has always been fast and furious and it is an absolute privilege to be able to help people move.
“I am very grateful for the wonderful colleagues working alongside me across all our Dorset offices. It really does take a whole team to be able to offer the excellent service standards we always strive for,” she added.
Chrtis Whittle joined Coles Miller as a paralegal in 1997, qualifying as a solicitor in February 2001. Chris was made a Partner in May 2008.
He specialises in all aspects of medical negligence and personal injury litigation, notably dental malpractice cases.
“It’s been a great privilege to have been able to help so many clients to obtain justice and compensation,” said Chris, who works at Coles Miller’s Fleetsbridge office.
“Many of the injuries that our clients have suffered have been very serious. And even supposedly minor injuries can still have a significant impact on a victim’s quality of life.
“I’m proud to work with such an expert team of personal injury and medical negligence professionals. Together, we work hard to help our injured clients to gain the compensation they need to fund their treatment, care and rehabilitation,” he added.
Senior Partner Roger Leedham said: “Congratulations Ruth and Chris. What an achievement and thank you for all you have done for Coles Miller and our clients over the last 25 years.”
It comes just months after Coles Miller celebrated Conveyancing Executive Pam Coniam’s 25 years with the firm.
