Coles Miller Solicitors has promoted Lindsey Arnold and Nick Leedham to Partners in a series of appointments. It brings the total number of Partners at the Dorset law firm to 14.
Lindsey is leading family lawyer – an accredited Resolution Specialist in both Private Law Children and Complex Financial Remedy matters. Few family lawyers have this combination of accreditations.
Her specialisms include divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, separation, financial remedy proceedings and complex cases involving children. These include jurisdictional issues and Hague Convention cases where children have been taken across international borders.
Nick runs Coles Miller’s Bournemouth-based Residential Leasehold Department, advising landlords, tenants and managing agents across the country.
His specialisms include buying the freehold, extending and varying leases, county court proceedings, forfeiture, right to manage, right of first refusal, service charges (reasonableness and recovery) and restrictive covenants.
Residential conveyancing solicitor Inga Pope has been made Associate. She joined Coles Miller in January 2022 after 11 years with two other Dorset law firms.
Senior Partner Roger Leedham said: “I am absolutely delighted to announce these promotions. Lindsey is a very popular member of staff. She is extremely experienced and has worked tirelessly to provide a service to clients of our Family Department, which is second to none.
“Furthermore, I am obviously extremely proud to be announcing that my own son Nicholas has been made up to a Partner and now heads the Residential Leasehold Department at Coles Miller. I have watched Nick’s development since he started with us as a trainee solicitor nearly 10 years ago and he has worked very hard to achieve this goal.
“Inga has also, in a short space of time, established herself as a greatly valued member of the Residential Conveyancing team in Bournemouth and has added a wealth of experience to that department. Well done to them all.”
