Coles Miller Solicitors will again be sponsoring this year’s annual Walk for Wards charity fundraiser to help celebrate 75 years of the NHS.
Staff from the leading Dorset law firm will join fundraisers walking three, five or 10 kilometres to support hospitals in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
The October 14 event will take place at Upton Country Park from 11:30am to 4:30pm. Attractions will include a local makers’ market, refreshments and live music.
University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity Fundraising Officer Amy Beauchamp said: “This year holds special significance as we celebrate the 75th birthday of the NHS.
“Whether you walk in honour of a loved one, support a ward close to your heart, or simply want to show your local hospitals some love, Walk for Wards offers a beautiful walk and an atmosphere of community spirit.”
