I am an experienced Senior Associate in our litigation team dealing with a broad spectrum of civil and commercial disputes including:

 

  • Disputes relating to wills, estates, trusts and inheritance - including will validity challenges (lack of capacity, undue influence), Inheritance Act claims; disputes between executors/trustees; constructive trust and proprietary estoppel claims

 

  • Disputes relating to Powers of Attorney arising from Health and Welfare or Property and Affairs LPAs - capacity issues, registration disputes, duties of Attorneys and Deputies, contested statutory wills; dealings with misappropriated assets and care issues

 

  • Property Disputes – including co-ownership disputes (Trusts of Land (TOLATA) issues), boundary issues, property rights, nuisance etc
  • Contractual Disputes
  • Sale of Goods and supply of Services Disputes
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Partnership disputes
  • Disputes with professional advisers – solicitors, surveyors etc

 

I am dual-qualified (South African attorney and solicitor in England & Wales).  I am experienced in litigating disputes in the County Courts, High Court, Court of Protection and Property Tribunals.  I completed the ACTAPS associate membership course.

 

Outside of the office I am busy with my childrens various activities but when time allows I can be found on the golf course.
