I began training as a Costs Draftsman in November 1996 having begun my career in the legal profession in 1988; first in the County Court and subsequently being employed as Litigation Executive whilst working for Solicitors in Lymington and Christchurch and studying with the Institute of Legal Executives.
I qualified as an Associate of the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen in 2005 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Association in 2008 and subsequently qualified as a Costs Lawyer. I am a Fellow of the Association of Costs Lawyers (ACL)
I now deal predominantly with litigation and in particular, personal injury. I have a range of experience including different types of funding, advocacy, negotiations, drafting and dealing with detailed assessment proceedings from the cradle to the grave.
When I’m not working, I enjoy running, walking, skiing, playing guitar, live music, comedy and dancing.
