Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis can have life-changing effects. Doctors have a duty of care and if your diagnosis was not accurate and timely then you may have a claim.

Delayed/Missed/Late Diagnosis

In this scenario your doctor has totally missed your illness or realised very late in the process. You could have been brushed off as a worrier or it could have been put down to stress. Either way they did not investigate properly until they became so bad the symptoms could not be ignored.

Misdiagnosis

You may have been diagnosed with something else in the short term and started to receive treatment for this misdiagnosed illness. This incorrect treatment could make your actual illness worse and do more harm than good.
